Almost. I misjudged the tire and did not fix Kaïa’s running line. She landed right in front of the tunnel and took it.

We did really well until the weave pole. I do not think this option was the best, but I wanted to try. She is not at her best with weave pole entries and I wanted to help her.
After that we failed to avoid several other traps. Not our best run.

The judge (trainee) was Holger Heilmann from Germany.

I do not know how we finished the jumping with only 2 faults. We got second place, and only 2 dogs out of 7 in intermediate managed to finish the course.

I badly showed the “out,” she didn’t execute, and that was it :(. I didn’t know how to handle the weave pole properly, and neither did many others. Almost everyone had their dog climbing the seesaw.

Very difficult agility, but the lack of training on the weave pole showed again.

This jumping course was really not to my taste. The start was complicated: the walls are hard to manage, especially if the dog isn’t right in front of them. Many failed there.
Later, the weave pole was catastrophically placed. Each time Kaïa weaved, a tunnel entry called her. It was also hard for me to negotiate. She doesn’t like it when I change sides at the weave pole, and she lacks training on it.
Other than that, I’m pretty happy with the rest of the course; it was nice aside from the two bars on the ground.

I just noticed that for a long time we were disqualified several times throughout the course. Now we are consistently disqualified only on the most difficult part, not every four or five obstacles. This might have been the case for a while, but I only realized it now.

The judge was Florie Steen, from France.

We had a big misunderstanding at the start. She was very excited and took the wrong jump. Other than that, this jumping course was really fun and Kaïa worked well.

No misunderstanding this time. The start was perfect, but we missed a complicated weave-pole entry. I restarted the weave pole poorly and she took a jump. The rest of the course went really well and she responded correctly to every command. I am really proud of this run because the course was really complicated.

The judge was Dominique Prin, from France.

This agility course was really fun. Dogs could go full speed on several lines, but there were multiple subtle traps and I missed one of them.

We probably failed the hardest weave-pole entry I have ever seen. We missed the entry, but the exit was perfect.
Then she did something I had never seen before: she jumped parallel to the bar, right beside it. I saw her land while I was watching, so I kept going since everything seemed to be in order.

We kick off the winter competition with a terrifying event, Halloween at Saarburg!

The judge was Jörg Zenner, from Germany.

We kick it of with a jumping. I was worried the long jump would be too predictable, my recall was too weak, and Kaïa took it anyway, as she loves the long jump.

Agility went better, but I was thrown off by a bar left on the ground. This can be really dangerous if your dog steps on it. This brief moment of confusion set me back a lot, but Kaïa still followed directions correctly.
Unfortunately, I called her back too strongly and she took a jump the wrong way.

The judge was Sabrina Schmitt, from Germany.

We started with an agility round with two faults. She didn’t understand a poorly handled jump, but I managed to get her back on track.

4th place with 2 faults

While looking at the jumping course, I didn’t really understand how to handle the part that disqualified us. Kaïa did her best to follow instructions that were unclear, even for me. Overall, we still struggle with “in” starts, and I still need to work more on that.

During this weekend, Yennefer was on her best behavior, hiding from everyone the fact that she is actually a demon in disguise.
