A one-day competition at Hannut: we kicked it off with four faults on the jumping course, but we were the only ones not disqualified in intermediate.

I wasn’t sure how to handle obstacles six and seven, so I settled on something that didn’t work well.

Yennefer

There was a little game organized in the afternoon, and I took the opportunity to work with Yennefer. The first time, she was a bit confused, not yet used to this kind of course.

The second time was already better. She kept wanting to go forward after the tunnel, but this time, I managed to stop her.

The judge was Rebekka De Backer from Belgium.

Only four dogs finished this course, with only one faultless run. It’s sad that she made so many faults because I felt like I guided her well.

Really nice course, but I wasn’t in it. Cooked by the sun, my brain ran slower, but Kaïa didn’t run slower.

Not a fan of the course. I didn’t know where to go or how to manage some parts.

The weave pole was the main issue here. The rest was pretty good.

I was the last one to run this course, a weird course. She failed multiple times on the weave pole, so I just left the course.

Pretty happy with this one. While we were disqualified on a tunnel discrimination, the rest of the course was nicely done.

I found this one really difficult to negotiate, as some parts were really tight. Not that it changes anything, since we were disqualified because she didn’t take the third obstacle correctly.

My favorite course of the weekend and the only one where we were not disqualified. The tunnel festival was great.
