Beautiful weekend with challenging courses, Happy Dog is a great place to be, plenty of space, smiling people, and good food.
It was also the opportunity to take some family picture! Kaïa father, mother, and brother were available on Saturday so we took a family picture! On Sunday, Annabelle, Kaïa’s sister joined us to take another picture.
It was supposed to be four days of agility at Arlon. On Thursday 15: competition, then training with Marine Tonglet on Friday, followed by competition on the weekend.
But on Saturday morning, I found my dog at the back of her cage, she didn’t want to come out. After a short walk, I realized something was wrong: she was behind me, didn’t run much with other dogs, and wasn’t walking properly.
Of course, I immediately decided that she was not going to compete. Fortunately, a physiotherapist was present, and she agreed to check Kaïa immediately. Turns out she had multiple muscle aches that needed rest and massages.
After a good massage and a full day of rest, my beloved Kaïa was back on her feet by the evening. She was able to run on Sunday.
Last year, at LiHOS, Kaïa was running in large and in grade 1. This year, we are back, but in grade 2 (and intermediate). We managed not to be disqualified on two runs!
