Agility at Seneffe

First place Agility! One more signature for the grade 3!

That was intense, I forgot to change shoes, and I was running with flat, slippery, shoes that are NOT made for this.

Jumping was less good, even with the right shoes.

Third signature!

Agility at Hannut

It was not my proudest work. The courses were nice and enjoyable but, for some reason, we couldn’t do them properly. I know she doesn’t do the weave poles well right now, maybe if I had more confidence in it, it would be better? I need to work on that anyway.
Sometimes, it’s just not your day.

Everything else is amazing!

This is one of the most beautiful competitions I have ever seen: inside the Sanem Castle, two agility fields, four judges, and 350 dogs.

The courses were harder than usual, and very few people succeeded. Kaïa was disqualified three times, and we did five faults (!) on the second agility… We finished third place with that.

Last weekend, we were at Boulzicourt. Lots of rain makes the agility field muddy and slippy.

On Saturday, I was a bit afraid but it was not too bad: the soil was still solid below the mud. I decided to run with Kaïa we took two first places!

On Sunday, the mud was deeper and I decided NOT to run with Kaïa. Instead, we took the beautiful Why Not and enjoyed the nearby rivers 🙂

Canis is a big agility competition in Belgium: 600 dogs compete over the weekend. It was the first time we participated.

Not everything went well this time. Jumping on Saturday was not fun but doable with Kaïa. We still failed because I was a bit too ambitious.
We started the Sunday with a complicated agility course. I just decided to stop: Kaïa and I were building up frustrations. Agility is supposed to be fun, and I had none.
