Already 7 weeks, time flies!
Their energy is reaching new records. They’re more active, more demanding, and… cleaner? For several nights now, I haven’t had much to clean in the pen. I just open the door, and they go outside to do their business. It’s so nice!
My sister came back to visit with my niece, and I got to capture this little moment:

Yankee also decided to take a nap on the sofa:

Everyone has a home now. The puppies are all very proud of how cute they are!

Everyone also went for a little walk with me on a short leash.
Everyone got a little fish to eat and they loved it.
Six weeks! Time to choose the one that is going to stay with me. It was so hard to decide. All of them are fit for sports: they play, run, jump, and even attack my toes ferociously…
I love all of them for different reasons. I love how Lady Pink looks like an angel, yet turns possessed the minute you stop looking. I love how Lady Red analyzes what’s in front of her before trying to destroy it. I love how Lady Green is always trying to burn off energy, gets in trouble for it, and acts like nothing happened.
I love this mix. Kaïa and Maïky gave me different versions of the same adorable yet fiery spirit that is present in both of them.
I chose the one that reminded me most of Kaïa as a puppy. I chose Lady Green, who is now named Yennefer.

Now let’s address the elephant in the room. I chose the one with the blue eye. I kind of wish it weren’t blue. I didn’t choose her for that. I don’t like asymmetry in a dog’s face, but I already have two very asymmetric dogs. Because you don’t choose based on looks. You choose for the character you like or need, and that’s a lot harder to do.
I’m actually sad. I know everyone else is in good hands, but I’m going to miss them a lot.
