We kick off the winter competition with a terrifying event, Halloween at Saarburg!

The judge was Jörg Zenner, from Germany.
We kick it of with a jumping. I was worried the long jump would be too predictable, my recall was too weak, and Kaïa took it anyway, as she loves the long jump.
Agility went better, but I was thrown off by a bar left on the ground. This can be really dangerous if your dog steps on it. This brief moment of confusion set me back a lot, but Kaïa still followed directions correctly.
Unfortunately, I called her back too strongly and she took a jump the wrong way.

The judge was Sabrina Schmitt, from Germany.
We started with an agility round with two faults. She didn’t understand a poorly handled jump, but I managed to get her back on track.
While looking at the jumping course, I didn’t really understand how to handle the part that disqualified us. Kaïa did her best to follow instructions that were unclear, even for me. Overall, we still struggle with “in” starts, and I still need to work more on that.
During this weekend, Yennefer was on her best behavior, hiding from everyone the fact that she is actually a demon in disguise.
